1. Right of revocation. You have the right to revoke this Agreement within fourteen days, without having to state reasons unless the goods are personalized goods.
2. Personalized goods.Rights or revocation and return are excluded for agreements for the delivery of goods that are not pre-fabricated and are manufactured based on an individual selection or specification by the consumer, or which are evidently customized to suit the consumer's personal needs (“personalized goods”, e.g. engraving), pursuant to section 312g (2) of the German Civil Code. Zippo shall grant customers a contractual right of revocation within 2 hours of dispatching the order.
3. Revocation period. The revocation period is fourteen days starting on the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the forwarding agent, took possession of the goods. In order to observe the revocation deadline, it is sufficient for you to have sent off the notice regarding your exercise of the right of revocation before the revocation period expires.
4. Notice of revocation. In order to exercise your right of revocation, you must inform us (Zippo GmbH, Retoure zippo.de, Groendahlscher Weg 87, 46446 Emmerich am Rhein, Germany, telefax: +49 (0)2822 600 650 , e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org , by making a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail), of your decision to revoke this Agreement. You can, but are not obliged to, use the attached sample revocation form for this purpose.
5. Consequences of revocation. If you revoke this Agreement, we must refund you for all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from the fact that you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) without delay, and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received your notice regarding the revocation of this Agreement. We shall use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless an explicit agreement to the contrary has been reached with you; you will not, under any circumstances, be charged any fees for this refund. We can refuse to refund you until we have received the returned goods or until you furnish evidence showing that you returned the goods, whichever happens sooner. You must return the goods back to us or to our logistic partner (Yusen Logistics Deutschland GmbH, Retoure zippo.de, Halle E, Marseiller Str. 14 – 16, 47229 Duisburg, Germany), or hand them over to us, without delay and in any event within fourteen days of the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this Agreement at the latest. This deadline shall be deemed to have been met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period comes to an end. You shall bear the immediate costs associated with returning the goods. You are only liable for any loss of value relating to the goods if this loss of value is attributable to the goods being handled in a manner that was not necessary for the purposes of assessing the features, characteristics and working order of the goods
